Victorian Tea with Father Christmas
If you’re tired of all the modern hoopla surrounding Christmas, it might be time to get back to tradition. How does a Victorian tea sound with Father Christmas? Pretty traditional.
But seriously – it’s a chance for kids to interact in a different way with Santa. The children’s event will feature holiday-themed activities and a visit by Father Christmas himself! The kids will learn about the history of Santa from a special storyteller, sing carols, and enjoy a delicious lunch with tea. Plus it all takes place inside a mansion! Click on the following link for a map.
Glen Foerd Mansion on the Delaware
5001 Grant Avenue
Philadelphia, PA 19114
It all takes place this Saturday, December 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person, children and adults, and advance payment is required. Call 215-632-5330 for tickets and more information or click here to visit the website.
It might sound like a steep price, but you pay close to that amount for one picture on his lap at the mall… and this sounds like a much more pleasant experience. Plus you’re sure to inspire your child’s imagination and create memories that will last even longer.
If you check it out, I would love to hear about your experience! Write me at Christie@TangoTraffic.com
Merry Christmas!
