Sheep shearing is just one of the many spring activities that go down on the ole farm in the spring time. And this weekend, your family can learn all about them at the Peter Wentz Farmstead.
In Worcester, the farm famous for all kinds of seasonal activities, is determined to spread the fun of a historical colonial farm. There will be antique toys and games, scarecrow building, story telling, and a puppet theatre. Farmers will show the techniques of sheep shearing and join in on farm related crafts.
There is a suggested donation of $2 per person, but it seems this small surcharge would be well worth the experience.
If you want to check it out with your family, Peter Wentz Farmstead is located in Worcester, Montgomery County and the weather forecast for this weekend couldn’t be any better!
