Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show

Crafters get ready – some of the most skilled craftsmen and women are about to take over the Pennsylvania Convention Center for the 36th annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show.

This is your chance to see current American and British creativity working at the highest of levels.  Nearly 200 artists will showcase their work at the show, chosen from about 1,100 applicants.  The crafters will be on hand to talk about their creative process – so get ready to pick some brains!  Plus this year, a select group of artists from Great Britain will also be exhibiting their work. Mediums range from a huge array of glass, baskets, jewelry, fiber, metal, paper, leather, ceramic, wood, mixed media, and furniture.  So get ready to be inspired in one way or another!

Funds raised from the craft show will go right back into the art world.  They’ll be used to purchase works of art for the museum, fund art education programs, and help with conservation projects.
